Liu Yi-chang

Liu Yi-chang (born October 24, 1997) is a Chinese actor from Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. He graduated from the Shanghai Theatre Academy's acting department and is skilled in various performance fields, including drama, singing, and dance. Liu made his official debut in 2016 with the romantic film "See You Tomorrow," where he played the role of Xiao Bei, marking the start of his acting career.
In 2017, he starred in the youth films "Gamer's Generation - Player S" and the fantasy web series "The Player," showcasing his ability to handle diverse roles. In the same year, he played the charming Lin Dayu in the sci-fi campus comedy "Ran Xue Nu Shen," gradually building his audience.
In 2018, Liu gained attention for his portrayal of the distinctive character Peng Yilun, a "goose type" boy, in the youth campus drama "One And Another Him." He rose to prominence in 2019 with the inspirational youth film "Our Infinite Further," earning the "Future Star Award" at the Sixth Wenrong Awards in October of the same year.
2020 was a breakthrough year for Liu Yichang. He played the introverted yet extroverted Zhao Cuo in the period mystery comedy "I've Fallen For You," and sang the theme song "Ding Laotou." The show's popularity significantly boosted his fame. He also starred in "The Chang An Youth" and "The Blooms at Ruyi Pavilion," portraying the aloof swordsman Dugu Muxue and the affectionate gentleman Xu Ping, solidifying his position in the period drama market.
In 2021, Liu was recognized as "Best New Male Actor" at the Fifth Golden Bone Network Film and Television Festival for his role in the urban mystery drama "The Secret Of Love." He also participated in the workplace drama "The Ideal City," which won the Excellent TV Drama Award at the 33rd China TV Flying Apsaras Awards.
In 2023, he starred in the fantasy romantic comedy "Catch Up My Prince," playing the role of Zhao Chanyi and continuing to expand his acting repertoire. In 2025, he will co-star with Lan Yingying in the romantic film "Love Island," set to be released on Valentine's Day, challenging the cross-time romance genre.
