Lin Kuan-hui

Lin Kuan-hui, born on August 20, 1977 in Taipei, is a talented Taiwanese female director and screenwriter. She graduated from the Department of Radio and Television Film at Shih Hsin University and the Director's Group of the Institute of Film Creation at National Taipei University of the Arts. Her work style blends humorous and touching content and often incorporates fantasy elements, addressing and presenting serious issues with clever humor and a relaxed approach.
Lin Kuan-hui's directorial career began with the 2008 drama "今天,天空很藍 (Today, The Sky is Blue)." Since then, she has directed several commercial films and television dramas. Notably her 2018 film "Secrets in The Hot Spring" received a nomination for Best Film at the 21st Taipei Film Festival, and she received nominations for Best Screenwriter and Best Director for this movie.
In 2023, she partook in the screenwriting and directing of the iQiyi fantasy comedy "Oh No! Here Comes Trouble." The series received high praise from a large number of audiences in Taiwan and mainland China after it was aired.
