Li Nai-wen, born on October 18, 1974, in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China, is a male actor from mainland China and a graduate of the Central Academy of Drama. He entered the academy in 1993 and began his theater career in 1998, participating in numerous stage productions and gradually gaining recognition in the theater community. He is a prominent member of the China National Theatre and is represented by Beijing Huayi Brothers Time Culture Agency Co., Ltd. Whether in theater or television, he has won many fans and accolades with his healthy, sunny image and humorous performance style. With the accumulation of experience, Li Naiwen made his film debut in 1999 with "Take It or Leave It," expanding his career into the film and television industry. In 2006, he had his first leading role in the film "Teeth of love," where he played the male lead Wei Yingqiu. The following year, he appeared in Feng Xiaogang's film "Assembly," portraying the role of demolitions expert Lv Kuangou, which gained him wider recognition. In 2009, the dramatic film "Memory of love" in which he starred, was publicly screened in France and received positive reviews.
In 2012, Li Naiwen starred in the urban romantic comedy "Meiguichaorousi" and subsequently appeared in several series, transitioning from a spy genre actor to an urban leading man, earning the Most Powerful Actor Award at the 3rd Meidong Chinese Awards Ceremony. In 2018, he received the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 24th Huading Awards for his outstanding performance in "Mr. Right." That same year, his period emotional drama "Frontier of Love" was broadcast, and he was nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 25th Shanghai Television Festival's Magnolia Awards. In 2020, Li Naiwen portrayed Li Si in the historical drama "Qin Dynasty Epic," continuing to be active in the film and television industry. In 2022, he starred in multiple series including the period spy drama "Faith," the family suspense drama "Homesick" the police crime film "Under the Light" and the suspense thriller "The Longly Warrior." In 2023, Li Naiwen was awarded the Annual Actor Award at the 1st Annual Chinese Television Festival organized by China Central Radio and Television. His talents will further be showcased in the film "Article 20," set to be released on February 10, 2024, and the TV drama "Bank on Me," premiering on August 18, 2024.
