Li Jing-dong

Li Jing-dong, born in 1968 in Fushun, Liaoning, China, is a mainland Chinese screenwriter, producer, and director. His career in television production began in 2008, serving as the executive producer for the TV drama "Those innocent years". In 2010, he served as the producer of the TV drama "Beauty of Innocence". In the same year, he was also the project initiator and executive producer of the TV drama "中國地 (China Ground)". In 2012, he ventured into the film industry, becoming the producer of the film "We Are Brothers". In 2016, Li Jingdong not only served as the screenwriter and producer of "打土匪 (Fight against Bandits)", but also became the screenwriter of "熱血青春 (Passionate Youth)". In 2019, he served as the producer and screenwriter for the revolutionary legend action drama, "鐵血茶城 (Iron-Blooded Tea City)". In 2020, "Insect Detective" premiered on Youku. He is the general producer, chief screenwriter, and director of the series; and in 2024, "Insect Detective 2" was released.
