Kyle Shum

Kyle Shum, also known under the stage name Sheung Chit, is a male actor, scriptwriter, and model from Hong Kong. Born in Hong Kong, he was a semi-finalist in the All Hong Kong Taekwondo Combat Championship. He then studied abroad in Australia and graduated in 2014 from the Department of Communications and Media at the Queensland University of Technology in Australia. During his university years, he participated in the TVB Global Chinese New Talent Singing Competition (Australia) and ranked fifth. Afterwards, he began to learn singing and acting skills from several vocal tutors, attending acting courses and stunt training while also writing short film scripts for film producers. In 2018, he went to Hollywood, USA, to shoot a short film called "We Shall Overcome". The same year, he participated in ViuTV's talent show "Good Night Show". In 2021, he co-wrote and starred in the movie "Deliverance". The script was nominated for multiple festivals, including the 28th Minsk International Film Festival competition unit and the 15th Chicago Asian Pop-Up Cinema Festival. It also won the Best Scriptwriter award at the 15th Macau International Movie Festival. In the same year, he participated in the audition program "Loser Reborn" hosted by HMVOD. He successfully made it to the top eight and was arranged to receive special training at Lionheart Entertainment in South Korea. Currently, he is working as a freelancer, taking on any on-screen roles.
