Kent Tsai

Kent Tsai (Tsai Fan-hsi), born June 26, 1997, in Tainan, Taiwan, is a budding male actor who completed his education in the Performing Arts Department of the Private Chuang Ching Senior Industrial & Home Economics Vocational School in New Taipei City. His acting career began in 2017, when he starred in a multinational series "The Teenage Psychic" co-produced by PTS and HBO Asia. The series was HBO's first produced and aired entirely in Chinese in Taiwan, thus his debut work has important symbolic significance.
In 2016, Kent Tsai participated in his first public film "mon mon mon MONSTERS" and embarked on an acting career. In 2017, the urban suspense supernatural drama "The Teenage Psychic," in which he starred, premiered. His excellent interpretation in the drama won him a nomination for the Best New Actor Award in a Mini-series (TV Movie) at the 52nd TV Golden Bell Awards. The same year, his brilliant performance in the film "All Because Of Love" earned him a nomination for Best New Actor at the 54th Taiwan Film Golden Horse Awards.
In 2018, the rom-com "How to Train Our Dragon," in which he starred, was released and received widespread attention. On February 6, 2022, the TV series "49 Days with a Merman," in which he starred, was broadcast in Taiwan, and he played the role of Zhao Longjie in the drama.
Despite only having a few years into his career, Tsai Fan-hsi has already gained rich experience and recognition. His professionalism and talent have made him a steadfast presence in the film and television industry. There's a long road ahead, and we can expect to see him shine in more outstanding roles.
