Joy Pan (Pan Yi-chun), born on September 1, 1969, in Taipei, Taiwan, is an outstanding actress, singer, and host who graduated from the Department of Drama at the Chinese Culture University. Pan Yi-chun officially began her entertainment career in 1985 by starring in her first movie "The Loser, the Hero." In 1991, she signed with Rock Records and gained further attention in 1994 for the wuxia drama "Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre," in which she played the role of Ji Xiao-Fu.
Throughout her many years in the entertainment industry, she has acted in several well-known TV dramas, including "姻緣花 (Marriage Flowers)" in 1997, "無鹽女 (Salt-free Woman)" in 2004, and "Cool Wife And Cute Husband" in 2006. Joy also starred in "船娘雯蔚 (Boat Lady Wen-Wei)" in 2008 and "A Perfect Husband" in 2011. Joy Pan's performances were also quite eye-catching in "Wine Beauty" and "Incisive Great Teacher" in 2014. By 2023, she played the role of Minister Chen Ling-Qiu in the drama "Port of Lies," garnering lively discussions and praise for her performance skills.
In her personal life, she began dating director Hu Hakun in 1998. Although they eventually broke up in 2008, she remains optimistic and continues her career in the entertainment industry.
