John Chong

John Chong, originally named Chong Kwun Nam, is a highly influential producer and filmmaker in the Hong Kong film industry. Born in 1959, he serves as the CEO of Media Asia Group and is one of its founding members. His exceptional contributions earned him the "Asia Star" by Business Weekly in 2004. After graduation, Chong immediately joined TVB Hong Kong and devoted himself to the local entertainment business. His dedication to advancing the Hong Kong film industry is second to none, and he currently serves as the Vice President of the Hong Kong Film Awards and Hong Kong Screenwriters' Guild. Simultaneously, he provides professional counsel for the affair of the Hong Kong Film Awards and the upcoming Hong Kong Asian Film Financing Forum as an advisor.
