Jeremy Xu
Jeremy Xu (Xu Zheng-xi, originally named Xu Zheng) was born on May 5, 1985, in Shanghai. He is a former Chinese actor. In 2005, he won the championship at the MEN'S UNO Global Chinese Supermodel Contest, officially entering the modeling industry. He then signed with StarzPeople and participated in the TV drama "New Breath of Love" and the film "Naraka 19."
In 2008, Xu Zhengxi joined Universe Entertainment and played the villain Shi Xiaoren in the Chinese drama "Invisible Target." He subsequently appeared in films such as "A Decade of Love," "Basic Love," "Seven 2 One," and "Child's Eye." In 2011, he starred as the wealthy heir Yan Liheng in the long drama "My Daughter," and played the lovesick star Ji Rufeng in the adaptation of the Taiwanese idol drama "Waking Love Up," gaining wider recognition.
In 2012, Xu Zhengxi participated in the films "Love Lifting" and "My Sassy Hubby." Between 2013 and 2014, he took part in several dramas, including "Painted Skin - The Resurrection," "The Spies," "Pearl," "Brave! Lover," and "The Virtuous Queen of Han," as well as the film "Kung Fu Angels."
In 2017 and 2020, he portrayed the Northern Zhou power figure Yuwen Hu in the dramas "The Legend Of Dugu" and the film "Cì Shā Yǔ Wén Hù," respectively. On February 28, 2024, his historical romance drama "Yong'an Dream" premiered, but on March 15, he announced via social media that he would farewell his acting career and officially withdraw from the entertainment industry.
