JC Lin

JC Lin, born on December 16, 1991, originally named Lin Cheng-hsi, is a Taiwanese male actor and a graduate from the Department of Drama at the National Taipei University of the Arts. In 2016, his exceptional performance in the short film "審判 (Judgment)" earned him the Best Actor award at the Nice Film Festival in France. In June 2018, he took on his first miniseries project "The Coming Through", playing the character Xie Mincheng, a country lad. In March 2019, he took up his first regular TV series role "The World Between Us", playing Ying Sicong, a character with schizophrenia. His passionate performance earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 54th Golden Bell Awards. In 2020, he collaborated with Director He Yuelong on the film "The Bridge Curse", where he played A Quan, this movie's success significantly increased his fame within the industry. Moving forward to July 2023, he took on another regular TV series "What the Hell Is Love", produced by Public Television Service, where he played Lu Yifan, a special individual who can see ghosts. Be it short films, mini-series, serial dramas or movies, JC Lin has won the recognition of audiences and critics alike with his excellent and committed performances.
