Jason King

Jason King (Hsiang Hsi), born on December 7, 1956, is a male actor from Taiwan. His acting career began in 1973 when he was just seventeen years old. Jason has participated in numerous film and television projects, and in 2012, he won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 47th Golden Bell Awards for his role in the public television series "Street Rhapsody". He won the same award again in 2014 for his role in the CTS mini-series "Cigarette Ends", and in 2018, he secured the same honor at the 53rd Golden Bell Awards.
Jason comes from a notable family; his father, Jin Chao-Bai, was a director and producer, while his mother hailed from the esteemed Wu Feng Lin family. Despite a privileged upbringing, he had a rebellious streak in his youth, which led to an injury that caused him to lose sight in his right eye after a fight. Following the death of his father in 2007, Jason changed his lifestyle and began investing in the LED lighting business, which has proven quite successful.
In his personal life, he fathered a son named Benjamin with Di Ying's sister, Di Mei, in 1992. Benjamin was born and raised in Ohio, USA, and is now a practicing physician who married in 2017.
In recent years, Jason has remained active in the entertainment industry. He appeared in the television series "Trinity of Shadow" in 2021, and on September 17, 2023, he participated in the premiere of the series "Living". In February 2024, he is set to appear in "TradeWar", and on June 21, he will feature in the second season of Netflix's "The Victims' Game". Additionally, he plays a significant role in the film "GATAO: Like Father Like Son", which was released on August 16, 2024.
Throughout his career, Jason has received multiple awards, including three Best Supporting Actor Awards at the Golden Bell Awards.
