Ivy Yin

Ivy Yin (Yin Hsin), born on July 14, 1978, in Taoyuan City, is a Taiwanese actress who studied at National Taiwan Normal University majoring Educational Psychology. She began her acting career in 2001, officially debuting in the youth campus comedy "Poor Prince." In 2003, she appeared in the period drama "Wintry Night II," and in 2004, she starred in the urban romance drama "Liàng Nǚ Láng."
In 2005, her leading role in the drama film "Dragon Eye Congee" was screened at the 14th Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, gaining her recognition among mainland audiences. In 2007, she was nominated for the Golden Lion Award at the 64th Venice International Film Festival for her performance in the film "Help Me Eros." In 2008, she starred and co-wrote the romantic film "Yǔ Nányǒu de Qián Nǚyǒu Mìtán," which earned her nominations for Best Actress and Best Screenwriter at the 43rd Golden Bell Awards.
In 2012, Ivy's outstanding performance in the dramatic TV movie "The Will to Power" won her the Best Supporting Actress Award at the 15th Taipei Film Festival. In 2013, she starred in the action TV drama "The Dangerous City." In 2014, her exceptional work in the romantic TV movie "Almost Heaven" earned her the Best Actress Award at the 49th Golden Bell Awards.
In 2017, she starred in the dramatic TV movie "The Island That All Flow By," which won her the Best Actress Award at both the 51st Golden Bell Awards and the 19th Taipei Film Festival, and she was nominated for Best Actress at the 54th Golden Horse Awards. Ivy made her debut in 1999 with the photobook "Confession" and was baptized as a Christian in 2010. In 2019, she was nominated for Best Actress at the 54th Golden Bell Awards for her role in the public television poetry selection drama "On Children - The Last Day of Molly." She has made significant contributions to film, television, and theater, receiving multiple nominations and accolades for her outstanding performances.
