Ivy Shao

Ivy Shao Yu-Wei, born on September 21, 1989, is a gifted Taiwanese actress who also explores singing and writing. She became more recognized by the mainland audience for her outstanding performance in the romantic drama 'Love at Second Sight' in 2014. By 2016, the time-traveling drama 'Back to 1989', in which she had the leading role, became the rating champion in its time slot in Taiwan. Later, she continued to land leading roles in urban drama 'The Perfect Match' and the sci-fi detective drama 'Futmalls.com'. That same year, she was nominated for the Best Actress award at the 18th Taipei Film Festival for her role in 'The Tenants Downstairs'.
