Ivana Wong (Wong Yuen-chi), a singer-songwriter, composer, and actress from Hong Kong, was born on June 18, 1979, in Hong Kong and is of Chaozhou descent from Guangdong. She graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and started her career in the music world in 2005, acclaimed for her "voice kissed by angels". She entered the music industry early on in 2000 when she participated in the 12th CASH Songwriter's Quest as a composer for popular songs. She switched from behind-the-scenes to the spotlight in 2005 and held two concerts at Hong Kong Coliseum for the first time in 2011. In 2013, she ventured into television acting and starred in TVB dramas such as "Inbound Troubles" and "Come On, Cousin". 2015 was a fruitful year for Ivana. With "Golden Chicken S", she broke the historical record of the Hong Kong Film Awards with five nominations, eventually winning Best New Performer and Best Supporting Actress at the 34th Hong Kong Film Awards. The same year, she was recognized with the Most Promising Actress Award at the 15th Chinese Film Media Awards.
