Ian Chan

Ian Chan was born on June 9, 1993, and is a versatile male artist and singer-songwriter from Hong Kong. He was a player in the Hong Kong Men's Volleyball Team and the South China Men's Volleyball Team Division A. During his student years, he attended Shek Lei St. Francis of Assisi's Love of Learning Primary school and Cheung Sha Wan Catholic Secondary School and was a member of the Volleyball, Track and Field, and Basketball teams. In the city-wide elite school volleyball competition in the 2011-2012 school year, he performed outstandingly, earning the honor of being named "Best Second Passer," and was selected for the all-star team.
Ian Chan enrolled in Hong Kong City University majoring in Public Policy and Politics. During his freshman year, he stood out in a singing competition, began receiving professional vocal training, and signed a contract to become an artist under ST Productions. During this period, he juggled multiple roles as a university student, a volleyball athlete, and a contract artist.
However, in 2018, to participate in ViuTV's talent show "Good Night Show - King Maker" and launch his entertainment career, he decided to officially withdraw from the Hong Kong volleyball team. In the grand final of the show, he successfully came in second place and subsequently made his official debut as a member of the Hong Kong boy group MIRROR. The following year, he released his first solo single, "二期大樓 (Second Phase Building)", under his own name.
Ian Chan's music career has been hugely successful. He has won the "Explosive Male Singer" award at the "Metro Radio Hits Awards" and the "Bronze Award for Male Singer on the Billboard Music Awards" at the "Billboard Music Awards Ceremony”. He also won the "Chill Club Annual Male Singer Bronze Award'' at the "Chill Club Recommends Annual Recommendations". These honors are enough to prove his outstanding achievements in the field of music.
