Hung Tzu-hsuan
Hung Tzu-hsuan, born in 1991, is a graduate of the Department of Radio and Television at Shih Hsin University. He specializes in filming action genres and already stood out during his time at university, directing several short films including "欺逃人 (Deceiver's Escape)", "彩金獵人 (Bounty Hunter)", and "破賊SYSTEM-A (Busting SYSTEM-A)". The short film "破賊SYSTEM-A" received recognition from renowned director Chen Yu-Hsun, while "欺逃人" won the Bronze Award at the Youth Film Festival.
In 2018, he released his first feature film, "The Scoundrels". This work not only received high praise from the audience but also set a new style for Taiwanese action movies. As a result of this film, Hung Tzu-hsuan's directorial talent was greatly highlighted, making him a standout star among emerging directors domestically.
Fast forward to 2022, the segment he directed "A Matter of Life and Death" in the original Mandarin crime drama "Taiwan Crime Stories" continues to shine.
