Huang Shi-yang

Huang Shi-yang is a female screenwriter from mainland China, graduated from the Central Academy of Drama. During her studies, she also served as a counselor in the school's student affairs office. Her representative work, the drama "Candle in the Tomb: The Lost Caverns," aired in 2020. The series ranked 7th in Douban's annual ratings for 2020 and won the "Global Recommended Series" award at the 2nd "Melody of the Times, National Sentiment" forum.
Huang Shiyang has also achieved significant academic success, receiving the National Scholarship for Graduate Students and earning a First-Class Master's degree in Film and Television Production from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2022. In 2023, she obtained a doctoral degree in Art Theory from the Central Academy of Drama. Since 2017, she has participated in writing film scripts including "Tian Bian Yi Mo Ning Meng Huang," "Du Dong Ni De Hai," and "Hun Qi Jiang Zhi," as well as the one-act play "Ji Wang Xing Kong De Jia Xin."
In November 2023, her film script "Hun Qi Jiang Zhi" was publicly listed for national story film registration. In 2024, her play "Zhu Jian" was selected as the opening performance for the 7th Asian Drama University Student Drama Festival, representing the Central Academy of Drama in competition on May 18, where it won the Best Program Award. In August, "Zhu Jian" was invited to perform at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, with seven shows that received enthusiastic responses from both domestic and international audiences, earning a four-star rating.
On September 10, 2024, the television series "Shan Hua Lan Man Shi," for which she served as a screenwriter, premiered.
