Hua Qing

Hua Qing, born in October 1963 in Huai'an, Jiangsu Province, is a renowned Chinese film and television director and cinematographer, as well as a guest professor at a film academy. He graduated from the Cinematography Department of the Beijing Film Academy.
In 1990, Hua Qing served as the cinematographer for the feature film "Good Morning Beijing." After 1995, he transitioned from cinematography for films to producing commercials and music videos. In 2001, his promotional film "Mountain, Water, Sea" won the Grand Prize at the 31st Mobi Television Advertising Festival. In 2003, he prepared and directed the children’s film "Once Upon A Time In Nan Xi Jiang." In 2005, he was the cinematographer for the feature film "Summer Palace."
In 2009, Hua Qing was nominated for Best Director at the 16th Shanghai Television Festival for his modern revolutionary drama "My Brother is Shunliu." In 2011, he directed the air combat drama "Departed Heros," for which he received the Outstanding Director Award at the 24th Military Television Golden Star Awards. In 2012, he directed the family comedy "Chili and Pickles." In 2013, he directed the modern revolutionary drama "Shang Zhen Fu Zi Bing." In October 2015, he directed the World War II drama "The Last Visa."
Hua Qing's professional career spans film, television, and advertising, achieving remarkable success in multiple roles such as director and cinematographer, showcasing his diverse artistic talent and professional capabilities.
