Hans Zhang, originally named Zhang Han, was born on October 6, 1984, in Qiqihar, Heilongjiang Province. He is an actor, singer, and producer from mainland China, graduating from the Central Academy of Drama in the 2003 acting class. In 2009, Zhang rose to fame by playing Murong Yunhai in the youth inspirational drama "Let's Watch The Meteor Shower," officially entering the entertainment industry. In 2010, he reprised his role in the sequel "Meteor Shower 2," further solidifying his position in the idol drama genre.
In 2011, Zhang starred in the TV series "Fall In Love," where he first challenged the image of a "business mature man." The following year, he received the Most Influential Actor Award at the 2012 Asia Idol Festival for his role in the idol drama "The Queen of SOPr." In 2013, his leading role in the historical drama "Heros in Sui and Tang Dynasties" won him the Most Popular Actor Award at the 19th Shanghai Television Festival.
In 2014, Zhang established his personal entertainment company, "Zhang Han Studio." In 2015, he won the Asia Star Award at the 10th Seoul Drama Awards for his leading role in the idol drama "Boss Me," and he also starred in the youth film "Youth Never Returns." In 2016, Zhang took on the role of producer for the TV series "The Rhapsody of A Summer Dream." He won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 1st Saipan International Film Festival for his role in the military-themed film "Wolf Warrior II" in 2017. In 2018, he participated in the production and starred in the TV series "Paris Unhappy."
From 2019 to 2022, Zhang starred in various works including "Guilt by Design," "Sunshine of My Life," and the urban comedy "Gentlemen of East 8th." On September 15, 2023, he participated in the central Huawen version of "A Dream Like a Dream," and in October, he starred in the TV series "Stay Young Stay Passion," which premiered during prime time on CCTV-1. Throughout his career, Zhang Han has showcased diverse talents, participating in numerous films and TV series, as well as releasing his personal single "拾憶 (Memories)" and other soundtracks.
