Gao Wei-guang

Gao Wei-guang, born on January 16, 1983, in Mishan City, Jixi, Heilongjiang Province, is a well-known actor and model from mainland China. He graduated from the Performance Department of the Central Academy of Drama. In 2006, he won the runner-up in the New Silk Road China Model Contest, starting his modeling career. In 2013, Gao Weiguang gained initial recognition for his role in the TV series "Swords of Legends." In 2015, he participated in the TV series "The Legend of Zu" and "Les Interprètes," as well as the movie "Mr.Pride VS Miss Prejudice," attracting attention. In 2016, he became more widely known for his role in the costume fantasy drama "Eternal Love." In 2018, Gao Weiguang starred in the TV series "Legend of Fuyao." In 2019, he won the Best Actor Award for Chinese Modern Drama at the 26th Huading Awards for his role as Zhe Gu Shao in the suspense drama "Candle In The Tomb: The Wrath of Time." In 2020, he rose to fame again for his portrayal of Emperor Donghua in "Eternal Love,The Pillow Book," and won the Best Actor Award for Chinese Costume Drama at the 29th Huading Awards. The same year, he also appeared in popular dramas such as "Candle in the Tomb: The Lost Caverns," "The Lost Caverns：The Last King of Banshan Taoist ," and "Miss S," gaining widespread popularity.
