Fei Zhen-Xiang

Fei Zhen-Xiang, originally named Fei Yang, was born on December 7, 1978, in Beijing. Coming from a family of Peking Opera artists, he was immersed in the art from a young age and studied under several Peking Opera masters. He graduated from the Beijing Opera Arts Vocational College and is a male actor and director from mainland China.
In 1982, at just 4 years old, Fei Zhenxiang made his stage debut, performing "Hua Guo Shan" at a Sino-Japanese friendship celebration. In 1986, he performed in Hong Kong with the China Peking Opera Company as the "Eight-Year-Old Prodigy Fei Zhenxiang." His role in the film "The true hearted" in 1991 earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 12th China Golden Rooster Awards. In 1993, he participated in Chen Kaige's classic film "Farewell My Concubine," playing the character "Little Stone."
In 2000, he studied under Li Shu and represented China in 2001, performing as the Monkey King in "Nao Tian Gong" in Russia. In 2010, he starred in the Zhejiang version of "Journey to the West," successfully portraying Sun Wukong. He then took a break from his acting career to focus on learning directing techniques from Guan Hu.
During his directing career, Fei Zhenxiang served as the overall director for the theatrical portion of the film "Forever Enthralled" in 2008. In 2017, he directed the web series "Candle in the Tomb: The Weasel Grave," followed by "Candle In The Tomb: The Wrath Of Time" and "Candle in the Tomb: The Lost Caverns" in 2019 and 2020, respectively, earning multiple honors.
On July 5, 2022, his historical family drama "Love Like The Galaxy" premiered on Tencent Video, gaining popularity and several awards. On September 10, 2024, his television series "Shan Hua Lan Man Shi" aired on CCTV-1 and Tencent Video, continuing his journey as a director.
