Ethan Juan

Ethan Juan (Juan Ching-tien), born on November 8, 1982, is a prominent actor, singer, model, and author from Taiwan. His journey in the entertainment industry started in 2002 when he appeared in Penny Tai's music video, "Loving You". His acting prowess came to light with the youthful drama "Green Forest, My Home" in 2005. In 2008, Juan took a leading role in the urban drama "Fated to Love You", shattering Taiwan's idol drama viewership records. In 2009, "My Queen", another idol drama led by him, secured the champion in its premiere timeslot. In 2010, his remarkable performance in the action film "Monga" earned him the Best Actor Award at the 47th Taiwan Golden Horse Awards. He took the leading roles in "LOVE" and "The Guillotines" in 2012. He co-founded his own agency in 2013 with Doze Niu and Lee Lieh. In 2014, he led in the film "Paradise in Service". He joined CCTV's variety show "Amazing Challenge" as a regular host in 2015 and won audience favor with his excellent performance. In January 2016, he featured in "New York, New York" and "Kill time" and later that year joined Jiangsu TV's reality show "Our Challenge". In 2018, he played a leading part in the popular historical drama "Legend of Fuyao" which aired nationwide and received positive reviews. On January 2nd, 2021, he participated in the reality show "The Pursuit of Happiness", which premiered on Zhejiang Satellite TV. On March 1, 2024, the movie "The Pig, The Snake and The Pigeon", in which he stars, was released in mainland China, where Juan takes on the role of Chen Guilin.
