Endy Chow

Endy Chow (Chow Kwok-yin), born on December 11, 1979, in Hong Kong, is a musician, singer-songwriter, and actor. He immigrated to New Zealand in 1992 and formed a band named "ZaRahn" in 1994, where he served as the lead vocalist and guitarist. He has written over 100 original songs. In 1998, he went to Japan to study, majoring in Japanese and multimedia. After graduating in 2001, he married a Korean woman he met in Japan, and they had a daughter two years after their marriage. In 2003, Endy Chow began his career in the Hong Kong music industry, joining Warner Music Hong Kong in September of the same year. He debuted as a solo artist in 2004 with his self-titled EP, "Endy Chow Kwok-yin." He also works as a songwriter under BMA Records, composing songs for artists such as Eason Chan and Fiona Sit. In 2020, he acted in the film "One Second Champion," playing the role of Chow Tin-yan. In July 2021, he won the "Best Actor" award at the Hong Kong Film Directors' Guild Annual Awards for this role. In 2022, he won the Best Original Film Song at the 40th Hong Kong Film Awards for the theme song "The Original Intention of Time" from "One Second Champion." In 2024, the Hong Kong television drama "Through a Lens Darkly," in which Endy Chow stars, was broadcast on ViuTV.
