Elaine Zhong

Elaine Zhong (Zhong Chu-xi), was born on March 18, 1993, in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. She graduated from the Acting Department of the Shanghai Theatre Academy. Zhong is a renowned actress in Mainland China. Her acting career started in 2011, and she gained attention in 2013 with her role in Hunan TV's weekly drama "OB·Gyn". In 2015, she signed with the well-known Huayi Brothers Media Corporation. 2017 marked a significant turning point in Zhong's career, when her performance in the youth film "Youth" earned her the Best Newcomer Award at the 1st Saipan International Film Festival. The following year, she was nominated for "Best Actress" at the 34th Popular Movie Hundred Flowers Awards. In 2019, Zhong participated in CCTV's 2019 New Year's Eve gala. In 2020, her role in the film "Wild Grass" won her the Best Actress award at the 33rd Tokyo International Film Festival. In December of the same year, she won the Best Actress award at the 12th Macao International Film Festival for her role in "August Never Ends". In 2023, she received the Annual Trend-setting Artist Award at the Tencent Video Starlight Awards. Zhong also received the Year's Quality Breakthrough Star Award at the Quality Drama Awards in 2024.
