Edmond Wong

Edmond Wong (Wong Chi-Mun), born November 2, 1978, is a celebrated scriptwriter in Hong Kong, and the second son of the renowned actor, Raymond Wong. He obtained a degree in social science, majoring in economics, from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada. Since entering the film industry in 2002, Wong has been active as a scriptwriter in numerous film productions. His portfolio includes "Dragon Tiger Gate" in 2006, which earned him a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay at the 43rd Golden Horse Awards. In 2018, his film "Master Z: The Ip Man Legacy" was screened at the 23rd Busan Film Festival. In 2020, he first took on the role of producer while also serving as a scriptwriter, successfully releasing the movie "Breakout Brothers," which was closely followed by "Breakout Brothers 3" two years later. As of 2018, Edmond Wong is the creative director of his own film company, Mandarin Motion Pictures, where he is responsible for orchestrating the company's film production business.
