Deng Wei (born February 26, 1995, in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia) is a male actor from mainland China. He graduated from the Dance Department of the Central Academy of Drama, where he laid the foundation for his acting career through dance training. In 2020, he officially entered the entertainment industry with the role of Xue Qianxun, the master of the Luo Feng Pavilion, in the costume fantasy drama "Encountering Dragon," marking the beginning of his diverse role interpretations.
In 2021, Deng Wei starred consecutively in the fantasy romance drama "Am The Years You Are The Stars" and the costume comedy "Pretty Girl Light Makeup," portraying the CEO of Qinglai Group, Qian Cheng, and the system character Jack, respectively. He showcased his ability to transition from a cold-faced master to a modern elite.
In 2022, he played the noble son Qin Ke in the costume fantasy drama "The Journey of Chong Zi," and in "Till the End of the Moon," he took on three roles — the sixth prince of the Sheng Kingdom, Xiao Lin; the master of the Hengyang Sect, Gongye Jimo; and the prince of the clam tribe, Sang You, earning significant recognition for his acting skills.
The year 2023 became a pivotal turning point in Deng Wei's acting career when he portrayed Tu Shan Jing (Ye Shiqi), the leader of the nine-tailed fox tribe in the phenomenal fantasy drama "Lost You Forever," delicately depicting the character's journey from downfall to rebirth and successfully creating a deeply affectionate image. In October of the same year, he took on his first leading role as Su Yishui, a talented fairy healer, in the costume drama "Fairyland Has Trees," opening a new chapter in his career.
In 2024, Deng Wei won the "2023 Weibo Night Annual Rising Actor Award" for his series "Eternal Love" and received the "Asia-Pacific Annual New Power Actor Award" at the 2024 iQIYI Scream Night. The series he starred in, "Eternal Love Season 2," achieved strong ratings in July of the same year, further solidifying his position in the costume drama market. On February 7, 2025, "Love of the Divine Tree," in which Deng Wei stars, premiered exclusively on iQIYI, marking his steady growth from supporting roles to leading man.
