Darren Wang

Darren Wang (Wang Talu), born on May 29, 1991, in Taiwan, is a famous Taiwanese actor active in mainland China in recent years and a graduate of Taojiang University of Science and Technology in Taiwan. He entered the entertainment industry in 2008, making his debut in the youth thriller drama "Mysterious Incredible Terminator". His career gradually grew with his participation in the campus drama "Gloomy Salad Days" in 2010, and the urban romantic drama "High Heels And A Scalpel" in 2014. Darren became widely recognized in 2015 for his role as "Hsu Tai-yu" in the youth campus film "Our Times". This film was the top-grossing release that year in Taiwan. In 2016, he starred successively in the fantasy romance film "Suddenly Seventeen" and the action-comedy film "Railroad Tigers", both of which received positive reviews and did well at the box office. Such successful performances led him to continue getting significant roles in the following years, including the mysterious action drama "Ghost Blows Out the Light: Mu Ye Gui Shi" and the fantasy action film "Legend of the Naga Pearls" in 2017. He also starred in the crime film "A Better Tomorrow 2018" in 2018. In 2019, he took the lead in the romantic film "Fall in Love at First Kiss" and received a Best Actor nomination at the 11th Macau International Film Festival for his performance in the comedy film "The Last Wish". In 2020, Darren starred in the ancient love legend drama "The Wolf". Then, in 2021, he starred in the fantasy adventure movie "Super Me".
