Da Qing
Da Qing, full name Wang Da-qing, was born on November 15, 1973, in Beijing. He is a director and advertising professional in mainland China and the son of famous actor Wang Xueqi. Influenced by his family's cultural background, he developed a love for the arts, particularly painting, from a young age. Daqing graduated from the London Film School with a degree in directing and pursued his film dreams during the early development of China's advertising industry. In 1990, he participated as a producer in the film "Peking Duck Restaurant." In January 1994, the film "自首的愛 (Confession of Love)," where he was the production manager, was released. In 2014, he directed the film "太陽會飛 (The Sun Can Fly)," collaborating with Siqin Gaowa and Zhou Xun, which gained wide attention. On November 22, 2021, the TV series "香山葉正紅 (Xiangshan's Red Leaves)," where he served as executive producer, was broadcast. On August 23, 2024, his directed film "Untouchable" will be released, once again showcasing his directing talent.
