Choy Ching-Shing

Choy Ching-shing, a male director of Hong Kong television dramas, is widely known for his directed works such as "A Step into the Past", "The Conquest" and "Twin of Brothers". Like many of his colleagues, he has been mainly active in the filming of TV dramas in mainland China in recent years. In 2013, his directed work "Dream Back to Tang Dynasty" premiered. In the next six years, Choy Ching-shing directed several TV dramas in succession, such as "Love Yunge From the Desert", "Flying Swords of Dragon Gate", and "New Horizon". In 2022, his Hong Kong-style family drama "Modern Dynasty" and the second season "The Heir to the Throne" produced in 2024 were broadcast on Youku and TVB.
