Chen Yu, born on May 7, 1994, is a distinguished Taiwanese actress. In 2014, while studying in the Department of Drama at the Chinese Culture University, she began participating in stage performances. In 2015, she successfully graduated as part of the second class from the Q Place Acting Classroom, a strict selection and training program founded by eight directors including Wang Hsiao-Ti. A major milestone in her acting career was in 2016 when her outstanding performance in the Taiwanese drama "Love of Sandstor" won her the Best New Performer award at the 52nd Golden Bell Awards. In 2018, she took on a role in the urban drama "Befriend". However, what truly brought her into the spotlight was the 2019 drama series "The World Between Us", which earned her a nomination for Best Supporting Actress in the Top 100 Chinese TV Series at the 26th Huading Awards. In 2020, she played the leading female character Tian Xiao-Xiang in the film "Do You Love Me As I Love You". In 2023, she portrayed the leading character You Wan-Ting in the TV series "Mr. Lighter", which was warmly received by the audience.
