Chen Xiao, a well-known actor in the global Chinese film and television industry, was born on July 5, 1987, in Hefei, Anhui, with his ancestral home in Ningbo, Zhejiang. He belongs to the Han ethnicity. He debuted as a child actor in the drama "我們班的歌 (Our Class Song)" during his childhood. In 2009, he challenged himself and starred in the TV drama "Confucius" and movie "Detective Dee and the Mystery of the Phantom Flame".
