Chen Bo-lin

Chen Bo-lin (Bolin Chen), born on August 27, 1983, in Taipei, rose to fame in 2002 with his starring role in the romantic blockbuster "Blue Gate Crossing", which also earned him the title of "most promising male actor in Asia" at the Tokyo Film Festival. His performance in the youth film "Love of May" in 2005 earned him a nomination for Best Actor at the 5th Chinese Film Media Awards. In 2011, he was nominated for Best Actor and the Golden Lotus Award for Best Film at the 13th Deauville Asian Film Festival in France for his role in "Buddha Mountain".
