Ben Yuen

Ben Yuen (Yuen Fu-wah), born on February 12, 1964, is a renowned actor based in Hong Kong. Since 1988, he has demonstrated his acting skills in numerous films and stage plays, and from 2014, entered the realm of television dramas. His most recognised work is the 1999 film "King of Comedy", in which he played a gang boss known for his catchphrase "You are not a delivery guy!". In 2018, his remarkable performance in the film "Tracey" won him the Best Supporting Actor at the 55th Golden Horse Awards. In April 2019, he once again won the Best Supporting Actor at the 38th Hong Kong Film Awards for "Tracey". In July, he clinched the Best Actor award at the 2nd Hong Kong Film Arts International Film Festival for the local film "Head-To-Tail". In November the same year, he was nominated for the Best Actor at the Golden Horse Awards for "Suk Suk". Before becoming a film star, he had been nominated multiple times for Best Supporting Actor in stage plays. Currently, Yuen is a part-time teacher in the Film Department of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (HKAPA). Invited by Kenneth Ip (Shu Kei) due to his notable contributions, he has been teaching at the HKAPA.
