Bai Yu, born on April 8, 1990, in Wubu County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, is a male actor from mainland China. He graduated from the 2009 acting program at the Central Academy of Drama. In 2014, he made his official debut with "Loser Diary" and also appeared in the wartime drama "Young Marshal" that same year. In 2015, he starred in the youth romance drama "Grow Up" and the urban idol drama "LOVE O2O." In 2016, he appeared in the film "LOVE O2O" and gained attention for his role as Han Chen in "Memory Lost." In 2017, he starred in the urban fantasy drama "Guardian," the historical drama "The Fated General," and the campus youth drama "Suddenly This Summer," which received a nomination for Excellent Television Drama at the 32nd Feitian Awards. In 2018, his leading role in "Suddenly This Summer" was well-received, and his popularity surged with his portrayal of Zhao Yunlan in "Guardian."
