Angel Jiang

Angel Jiang (Jiang Qin-Qin), born September 3, 1975, formerly known by the stage name "Shuiling," is a Chinese actress from Chongqing, and her father worked as a police officer. From 1980 to 1985, she attended the Chongqing Xiaolongkan Cultural Village Elementary School, and from 1986 to 1991, she studied Peking Opera at the Chongqing Art School, specializing in martial female roles. From 1991 to 1994, she worked with the Chongqing Peking Opera Troupe and made her acting debut in the 1992 television drama "Meitai Guanyin."
In 1994, Jiang Qinqin entered the Beijing Film Academy's acting department with the top score in the national arts examination and began working at the Beijing Film Studio after graduating in 1998. That same year, she gained fame for her role in the Qiong Yao drama "Cang Tian You Lei" and was given the stage name "Shuiling," later returning to her real name for her performances.
Her notable works include "Xi Shi" (1995), "Kangxi Wei Fu Si Fang Ji" (1997), "Bai Fa Mo Nu" (1999), "Qing He Jue Lian" (2000), "Feng Yun" (2002), "She Diao Ying Xiong Zhuan" (2003), "Jie Jie Ci Dian" (2005), "Qiao Jia Da Yuan" (2006), "Suo You Meng Xiang Dou Kai Hua" (2009), "Kai Tian Pi Di" (2011), "Lao Ye De Kang Zhan" (2013), and "Yi Ge Shao Zi" (2015). She also participated in the variety show "Xing Fu San Chong Zou Di Yi Ji" (2018) and the "2022 Chuan Yu Chun Jie Lian Huan Wan Hui" (2022).
Jiang Qinqin has received numerous awards, including the Excellent Actress Award at the 26th China Television Flying Apsaras Awards, the Most Popular Actress Award at the 23rd China Television Golden Eagle Awards, and the Golden Phoenix Award at the 10th China Film Performance Art Society Awards. In March 2024, she won Best Actress at the 17th Asian Film Awards, and she will appear in the films "Big World" and "Molly," both set to be released in January 2025.
