Alex Fong (Fong Chung-shun), whose real name is Fok Lik, was born on March 17, 1963, in Macau. He completed his education at the prestigious Yuet Wah College in Macau and is an actor active in Hong Kong films and television. His wife is Mok Ho-yan, the 1993 Miss Hong Kong winner. Besides his acting career, Alex Fong is also a race car driver. In 2014, he achieved third place in the Clio Cup China Series at the Zhuhai International Circuit. His acting career began in 1986 with his debut film "Escape from coral cove." In 1987, he starred in the film "Life is a moment story" and adopted the stage name Alex Fong. After joining TVB in 1992, he co-starred with Francis Ng in the Hong Kong gangster film "The Mighty Gambler." He left TVB in 1996 but returned in 2000. In 2001, Alex Fong earned the Best Actor award at the 3rd Taipei Film Festival for his outstanding performance in "Red Rain." In 2002, he played the role of Fire Captain Tong Ming in the TVB drama "Burning Flame II." In 2005, his excellent performance in "Drink-Drank-Drunk" earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the 25th Hong Kong Film Awards. From 2008 to 2013, Alex Fong played significant roles in several outstanding films and TV series, including "If You Are the One" and "Overheard." In 2015, he starred as King Ying Si in the historical drama "The Legend of Mi Yue," which brought him to new heights in his career. From 2016 to 2018, he continued to improve and starred in "Liu Shan Men," "Law dis-Order," and "Project Gutenberg." In 2019, he portrayed the incorruptible Captain Lau Kin-fai in "PTU."
