Alan Yeung (Yeung Wai-lun), born on September 11, 1982, and nicknamed "Ah Lun," is a Hong Kong actor and director, as well as a member of the boy bands "Juicyning" and "Airfresher". In 2015, he won the Best Actor (Comedy/Drama) award at the 24th Hong Kong Theatre Awards for his role in the stage play "過戶陰陽眼 (The Ghosts of the Past)" and received the Outstanding Male Actor award at the 7th Hong Kong Small Theatre Awards for his performance in "平坦路上看不見日出 (Can't See the Sunrise on a Flat Road)."
In 2021, Alan portrayed the mixed-race character Pierre in the TV drama "Ossan's Love (HK version)" and starred in the film "Zero to Hero," based on the true story of Paralympic champion So Wa-wei, which was released in mainland China on September 4.
In 2023, he was nominated for Best Actor at the 41st Hong Kong Film Awards for his role in the film "The Sparring Partner" alongside co-star Mak Pui-tung (who played Tong Man-ki). This marked his first nomination for Best Actor since his debut. That year, he was also invited by Ronald Cheng to serve as a mentor on the reality show "機動兵工廠(Mechanics Workshop)." Additionally, his comedy "Killing Procedures" aired on February 6, and the black comedy film "Over My Dead Body" was released in Hong Kong on April 4.
In 2024, Alan's film "Crisis Negotiators" was released in Hong Kong, followed by "True Love, For Once in My Life" on September 26. He also stars in the Hong Kong zombie film "Possession Street," which is set to premiere on October 31. Alan's notable works also include "Ciao UFO" from 2019.
