Lee Lieh

Lee Lieh, born on March 29, 1958, in Taipei, is a renowned Taiwanese actress and film producer, and the former wife of Taiwanese singer Lo Ta-yu. She is a woman of expertise, graduating from the Editing and Reporting Department of Shih Hsin University (previously known as World Journalism College). Her acting career is nothing short of dazzling, having participated in numerous films including "That Day, on the Beach," "The Story of A Small Town" "Good Morning, Taipei," and "Don't forget the promise" among other works. She also delivered excellent performances in TV dramas such as "一翦梅 (A Plum Blossom)," "含羞草 (Mimosa)," "天長地久 (As Time Goes By)," and "又見夕陽紅 (Sunset Again)." However, in her life, she is not only an actress but also the head of both 1 Production Film Co. and 天亮娛樂 (Tianliang Entertainment). After a brief departure from the entertainment industry to engage in business, she returned and stepped into the field of TV drama production, founding 1 Production Film Co. and kick-starting her career as a producer. Subsequently, she produced numerous publicly discussed movies, such as "Orz Boyz!", "Monga," "Jump Ashin!," "Zone Pro Site," and "The Village of No Return," all of which have achieved excellent results in box office and word of mouth. In recognition of her dedication and success in the Taiwanese film industry over the years, she was awarded the Outstanding Taiwanese Filmmaker of the Year at the 47th Golden Horse Awards in 2010.
