Fu Meng-po
Fu Meng-po, born on May 13, 1987, in Taipei, Taiwan, graduated from the directing group of the National Taipei University of the Arts. The depth and breadth of his work, including music videos, advertisements, television, and films, are quite extensive.
During his studies, he already had a strong interest in photography and started shooting commercials during his senior year to hone his skills. However, he never intended to become an artist until he was introduced to the entertainment industry by his junior, Jian Man-shu.
In 2016, he took on the main role in the TV drama "Ba Ji Teenagers". He was also nominated for the Golden Bell Award for Best Actor in a Drama in the same year. The following year, he won the honor of the Golden Bell Award for Best Actor in a Mini-Series/TV Movie with "The Last Verse". In 2018, the movie "Father to Son," in which he starred, even led him to be nominated for the Best New Actor at the Golden Horse Awards. Thanks to his splendid performance in the 2023 film "Day Off," he won the 25th Taipei Film Award for Best Supporting Actor and was nominated for the 60th Golden Horse Award for Best Supporting Actor.
In recent years, he has participated in many film and TV productions, including "The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty," "Road to Rebirth," "Rainless Love in a Godless Land" and others. The film "Life for Sale", in which he starred, was released on April 29, 2022. The TV series "Taiwan Crime Stories", in which he appeared, was broadcast on January 4, 2023. In November of the same year, another of his works, "The Abandoned," was shown in mainland China.
With his in-depth ability and serious commitment, Fu Meng-Po has made steady strides in the field of drama. Through constant effort and learning, he has become an outstanding actor and a widely recognized professional film star.
