Jacob Wang

Jacob Wang (Wang Po-chieh), born on September 25, 1989 in Taipei, Taiwan, is a Taiwanese male actor and model active in the fields of film, television, advertising and music videos. He entered the entertainment industry in 2006 and received recognition as the Best New Actor at the 10th Taipei Film Awards for his first film "Winds of September" in 2008. That year, he also starred in the urban romantic drama "You Are My One And Only" as the male lead, interpreting the character Wu Qigang.
Wang Po-chieh gained popularity in 2009 after appearing in the well-known Hong Kong film "Bodyguards and Assassins". Since then, he has been very productive, participating in a series of film and television works including "Juliets", "Paradise in Service", "Forever Love", and also caught the attention of audiences at home and abroad due to Ang Lee's film "Life of Pi".
