Hsueh Shih-ling

Hsueh Shih-ling, nicknamed "40", was born on June 10, 1983 in Taiwan and is a multi-talented Taiwanese actor and singer. He is a member of the Taiwanese hip-hop group Da Mouth, contributing as a rapper and lyricist. Their work has won the Golden Melody Award for Best Performing Group twice, in 2008 and 2011.
Hsueh Shih-ling began forming bands in high school. He has served as a bassist, guitarist, and eventually became the lead singer. After entering the entertainment industry, his film and television works include "Ti Amo Chocolate", "戀愛SOS (Love SOS)", and popular dramas "Born Into Loving Hands" and "Workers", etc. He also won the Best Actor in a Television Drama and Best Supporting Actor in a Mini-series at the 56th Golden Bell Awards in 2021.
2023 was a particularly fruitful year for him. His outstanding performance in the TV drama "Taiwan Crime Stories - Derailment" earned him Best Actor in a Television Drama at the 58th Golden Bell Awards. The same year, he also participated in the movie "Eye of the Storm" which was screened in Taiwan. At the end of the year, he started filming for the new drama "The World Between Us 2". Hsueh’s talents and hard work have earned him recognition not only in music but also as an actor.
