SK Yip
SK Yip, a well-known photographer and current vice president of the Hong Kong Cinematographers Guild, his main representative work is "Fagara". The images he captures under the lens are filled with power and depth, showing audiences his unique visual language and storytelling ability.
SK Yip studied Applied Photography in the early years at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University - School of Design. During this period, he deeply understood the expression and language of images through learning about film and photography. In addition, he also gave back his experience and knowledge to the academic community. He has taught part-time in the Film Department of Hong Kong Baptist University, the Multimedia Photography of Macau Polytechnic Institute, the School of Journalism and Communication of Shantou University, and the Centre for Journalism and Media Studies of the University of Hong Kong, sharing his unique insights on photography.
On May 28, 2021, "The Revenge of Flowers", a film for which SK Yip served as the director of photography, was launched on Tencent Video. Once again, he showed his delicate control and innovative thinking about visual storytelling, further establishing his position in the Hong Kong film industry.
