Too Young To Grow Old

The story revolves around Song Chen, a former delinquent who, influenced by his mentor, decides to become a teacher with the aim of changing the destinies of more underprivileged students. However, during his internship, he is assigned to Class 1, a top-performing class, where he becomes the homeroom teacher for the high achievers. At the same time, his mentor's daughter, Tan Shutong, a hot-tempered honor student, is resistant to the teaching profession but, due to job search failures, is forced to return to high school and become the homeroom teacher of the troublemaking Class 18.
This pair of novice teachers and the unyielding students initially hold prejudices against each other but are compelled to live together. Through their daily interactions, these biases gradually dissolve. Meanwhile, Song Chen's former classmates from the previous generation of Class 18 have also entered society and are living together, becoming supporters of the two new teachers. Although they are now adults, they face similar troubles as the high school students.
The intertwining stories of the "post-95" social newcomers and the new generation of "post-05" youths create anticipation for whether they can become the ideal adults they aspire to be.
