Yen Hu is a veteran Taiwanese screenwriter active in both theater and film. As a playwright, he has worked in the industry for eight years and has collaborated with various theater companies, including the Ruan Theater, Shamae Theater, Fire Thief Theater, and Jingaong Wave Productions. Since 2018, he has signed with Rustic Pictures, focusing on screenwriting for film and television.
In terms of television series, his work "The Case of Yin and Yu" received a development grant for the 110th Annual Television Script. His film script "Marriage Accident" was shortlisted for the 2021 Asian Rising Stories. Recently, his theatrical works include "Disappearing Taipei," "New! Crown Resort," and "Summer is Beautiful."
His screenwriting has earned him several accolades, including the First Prize at the Tainan Literature Award, Honorable Mention at the Changhua Huangxi Literature Award, and the Ministry of Education's Arts Creation Award. He has been selected five times for the Taishin Arts Award. His recent works include "No One Under the Roof," "Monday Again?!," "M MISSION," and "The Cleaner," and his collaboration with director Chao Koi-Wang on the work "Goddess" was selected for the Golden Harvest Award.
