You Han-Tin was born on May 11, 1986, and is a director and screenwriter from Taiwan. His film career began in 2012 with the work "The Gold Ore" showcased at the Public Television Student Drama Festival, which was nominated for the Taipei Film Festival and the Golden Harvest Awards. Subsequently, his 2014 short film "Something about the Boy" also gained attention, earning nominations at the Golden Harvest Awards, the Kaohsiung Film Festival for International Short Films, and the Southern Film Festival for Best Narrative and Best New Director, gradually establishing his presence in the film industry.
You Han-Tin's first feature film, "The App from Heaven," premiered on VideoLand Movie Channel in 2017, further solidifying his status as a director. His subsequent work, "Humming Memory," achieved remarkable success at the 42nd Golden Harvest Awards, winning the top awards for "Best Film" and "Best Director." Additionally, the lead actor, Stone Yang, received the "Individual Performance Award – Best Actor" for his outstanding acting. In 2024, his film "See You" was released in Taiwan.
