Charlize Lamb was born on April 11, 2002, in Taiwan, with a mixed Taiwanese-American background. She initially debuted as a model and entered the entertainment industry at the age of 14 through an advertising casting call, making her first appearance in a Calpis commercial. Subsequently, she participated in the filming of various advertisements and music videos.
In 2022, Lin Yi-lan transitioned to acting, appearing in the Netflix series "Shards of Her," where she played the teenage version of Hsu Wei-ning's character, "Little Lin Chen-hsi." This role earned her the Best Potential Newcomer Award at the 58th Golden Bell Awards for Mini-series/TV Movies.
In 2023, she continued to shine with roles in "Ghost Festival" and "Let's Cook Lunch," portraying a playful and eye-catching Dutch ghost, winning the hearts of viewers. In 2024, she appeared in the TV series "Monday Again?!."
