Wu Qiang is a well-known television director in Mainland China, active in the film and television industry since 2014. In that year, he served as the deputy director for the drama "Diamond Lover," starring Rain, Tang Yan, Luo Jin, and Dilraba Dilmurat. The series won multiple honors, including being named one of the Top Ten Influential Dramas at the 2015 National Drama Festival and receiving the Annual Entertainment IP Marketing Award at the 5S Golden Award Ceremony.
In the same year, he directed the web series "Zheng Rong Ji," which explored human nature and emotions, featuring a tight plot and strong topicality, garnering widespread attention from the audience.
In 2016, he co-directed the urban workplace romantic drama "Across The Ocean To See You," which, after premiering on Zhejiang Television, achieved over 4 billion views. In the same year, he co-directed the urban romantic comedy "LOVE ACTUALLY" with Chen Mingzhang, which premiered on Hunan Television on August 15, 2017, becoming the most-watched drama that day. Wu Qiang also collaborated with director Zhao Baogang on the military drama "Deepwater Forces."
In 2017, he directed the food healing comedy "Kiss Love and Taste" and the fantasy romance "My Love From The Ocean," showcasing his diverse directorial style. In 2018, he directed Tencent's "The Eternal LoveⅡ," which began filming in March.
In 2020, his web series "Well-Intended Love" was awarded one of the Top Ten Quality Dramas at the 4th Golden Bone Network Film and Television Festival, and Wu Qiang himself won the "Most Popular Web Drama Director of the Year." On December 27, 2022, his television series "Unchained Love" officially aired. In 2024, his series "Fall in Love with Fox" will be released.
