Marco Law

Marco Law was born on October 22, 1966, and is a well-known television producer from Hong Kong. He currently serves as a producer and production manager in the drama department at TVB. He studied at St. Francis Xavier's School in Tsuen Wan and graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a degree in sociology in 1988. In 1989, he joined TVB, initially working as a director primarily responsible for children's programs.
In 1990, he transitioned to the drama department, where he was profoundly influenced by TVB's drama production director, Catherina Tsang, producer Amy Wong, and renowned producer Wai Ka Fai. In 1999, Marco Law was promoted to drama producer at TVB, creating many popular works, such as "Welcome To The House" and "Dragon Love."
In 2019, the series "Big White Duel," produced by him, received widespread acclaim and won the "Best Series" award at the TVB Anniversary Awards 2019. As his career progressed, he was promoted to senior manager of the drama department in April 2022. In July of the same year, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China, TVB launched "A Gift for the 25th Anniversary of Hong Kong's Return," in which Marco Law produced and directed the series "Return of Light and Shadow," consisting of five episodes.
On July 26, 2023, his directed and starred series "Narcotics Heroes" premiered, earning him a nomination for Best Director at the 19th Seoul International Television Festival. His latest work, "Big Biz Duel," aired on September 16, 2024. Marco Law's creative style involves close collaboration with scriptwriter Kuan Sung-Ling and frequently partners with actors such as Alex Fong, Raymond Wong, and Nancy Wu.
