Yuan Zi-dan

Yuan Zi-dan, born in Shaoyang, Hunan Province, is a female screenwriter and writer from mainland China. She graduated from the Chinese Department of Wuhan University in the class of 1999. In 2003, Yuan Zidan created her first play, "Tian Xia Di Yi Gong Si."
In 2009, her novel "Guo Ge" was officially published, and in 2013, it was selected as one of the 100 excellent books recommended to youth nationwide by the Central Publicity Department, the Ministry of Education, and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League.
In 2010, the television series "Guo Ge," for which Yuan Zidan served as screenwriter, premiered. That same year, she contributed to the script for "Ri Chu Dong Shan." In 2016, her urban female ensemble drama "Ode to Joy" aired, earning her a nomination for Best Screenwriter at the 23rd Shanghai Television Festival’s Magnolia Awards, as well as honors at the China Television Quality Ceremony for Annual Quality Screenwriter and one of the Top Ten Young Television Screenwriters in China at the inaugural "Original Intention List."
In 2017, she also wrote the sequel "Ode to Joy 2." In 2018, Yuan Zidan received the "Knight Medal of France" and served as a judge for the "Top Ten Young Television Directors in China" on the Original Intention List. She also won the Top Ten Young Television Screenwriters Award.
In 2021, the television series "Demi-Gods and Semi-Devils," for which she was a screenwriter, aired. In 2022, she participated in the writing of "My Superhero," which premiered and earned her a nomination for Best Screenwriter at the 13th Macau International Television Festival. In 2023, her family drama "As husband As wife" began production, and she participated in the variety show "Onair sitcom 2," which aired on Dragon TV on August 13.
