Liu Lin, born on April 13, 1974, in Beijing, is a Chinese actress who graduated from the Beijing Film Academy. She made her debut in the film "By The High Building" in 1993, officially entering the entertainment industry. In 1994, while still in school, she participated in the film "The Phantom Lover."
In 1999, her leading role in the drama film "Seventeen Years、Diciassette anni" earned her the Best Actress Award at the 13th Singapore International Film Festival. In 2001, Liu Lin starred in the war film "Plain Shots," and in 2004, she appeared in the emotional drama "Xiang Zhang Shu."
In 2007, she starred in the anti-Japanese television drama "Wu Hao Te Gong Zu." Liu Lin gained popularity in 2012 for her role in the family emotional drama "Romance of Our Parents / Parents Love." In 2015, she appeared in the biographical film "The Calligraphy Master" and starred in the war film "Qin Niang" that same year.
